The City of Love
This was a family trip (parents and three sisters/brother-in-law) in September 2022 and for me it was BETTER than I anticipated. But, I'm biased because I knew more about what was going on thanks to having a grasp on the language.
From the Eiffel Tower to Disneyland Paris, I can't wait to go back with a partner and experience all the lovey-dovey, sickening sweet romance that the city has to offer couples.
We did a bus tour and learned a great deal of the city, and visited most of the historical landmarks because my oldest sister is an amazing organizer and had visited Paris before so she ensured we knew all the must-see places.
On top of that, I tried so many different variations of food and drink I'm amazed I didn't have a tore-up stomach the whole trip; they truly have higher quality food in Europe compared to the States with all the GMO and additives for extended shelf life and cheap production.
But I digress!
Can't wait to upload all the pics from this trip as well because even though some people say the city is over-rated, I thought it was top-notch. As far as foreign countries go, we felt safe even though we weren't from there.
Be warned!
The pick-pockets are crazy. We didn't deal with any of those issues probably because people from there assume darker skinned people might be refugees and thus not have anything, but they are quick and sneaky on public transportation so mind your bags and wallets if you don't Uber those of you that look like you have money or have a trusting nature.
So yeah, stick with me until you get the French experience
